See, didn't even know there was a Scorecard thread. I sit somewhere around 36 on my Scorecard - watch, I will look at the Scorecard thread and find I'm at 5 or some kind of disparity like that. ~sigh~

What is funny is that right now, for the first time in memory, I am not enjoying the act of writing - not one bit. I'm sick of it. I'd like to walk away and not write another word until the urge hits me again, if it ever does. I don't know if this is a temporary thing or if I am burned out, but writing isn't a pleasant experience for me at this point. So to answer your question SCENT, no, the fun isn't trying right now.

I can't stop writing, as it helps to pay the bills, but wish I could. I need a vacation.

I spent the week working on technical writing and documentation for new software. I got squat fiction done. God, there are times I wish I could quit the nerd work.

Where you work alone for the most part, I have those who want/need my work hovering around me most of the time. And, their impatience is only topped by their ignorance of what I do/write/try to get them to do.

I could not stand working with anyone at my age. Perhaps a day here or there, but after working in a solitary environment for the past 8 years, I have learned to enjoy my own pacing. I just have to learn to crack the whip on myself again, that is all.

Since my previous post, I've delved back into the story I was working on and am writing. I will finish this one tonight and continue with as many as I can achieve by Monday.

I was more frustrated with not being able to check my emails more than anything, but that's the way it goes sometimes. The kids survived, which is saying a lot. lol

I enjoyed making that dress, but it's a lot easier if the dress came apart and then someone reassembled it. lol

The pills finally kicked in around noon although just as I was finally drifting off, the cat decided to jump on the bed and join me, startling me awake again for about 15 minutes. So I've only been up for a little while and am having a meal and drink.
