Hello gorgeous :rose::rose:

Just been looking for you on face****. I was sure I had you but now I can't find you  We are making plans for next year's BIG trip and need all; the help we can get!! And to find out just where peeps are so we can visit....

Hello, nice to see you too!! So you're coming back to the states - crazy woman. ;) I still have you on facebook, as far as I know. I'll log in and see if something changed sometime when they did all their changes and security things and what not.

:rose::rose:
Glad all went well hun

Thanks, me too. :rose:

Evening!

Red I'm glad your dad did good in surgery.
I'm in NC visiting my uncle who is in hospice. I really tried not to break down and cry, but saying good bye for the last time and I just bawled. We all have been pretty somber.

Makes me pretty reflective about life. I think I'm going to drive most of the way home.

I'm sorry :rose:. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

-------------------

This week is Spring Break for two of my kids. The eldest let me know that the first week of May she's done with school for the semester. The other 2 still have the whole month of may and some of June.

Wishing everyone a pleasant Monday afternoon. Sorry I wasn't here earlier, but I am out and about (mobile)

Thanks everyone!

Driving back our family had a lot of time to reflect. 12 hours, 6 of which I drove. Ugh

Also NC was a beautiful 65 degrees. Michigan is at a cool 37 and dropping.
Yay to be home!

A quiet month for April and I am A-OK with that! Last month my dry erase calendar board was full with only 8 days or so with nothing written on them. This month, the only things that aren't "normal" appointments are a couple of orchestra concerts!! Even the kids aren't super busy. Daughter #2 only has Prom. I told the family we were going to be bored all of April and probably May as well.

I hope you all have a great day! I'm working on adding glass beads to the daughter's dress this week. Prom is next Saturday and I need to make sure the dress is ready to go. :D

I'm so glad we have just one child! I don't think I could have taken two, three proms.

This is pretty fucked up: His college is on spring break, from last Friday until tomorrow. They return thursday. Major suck for them, even professors are pissed at what the school did.

Very strange school break, that much is sure.

I will be on / off all day as I have reading / writing to do. My publishers delivered a batch of over 40 magazines to me yesterday, have to go through and catalog all the new stuff that has now been printed.

Well folks, a disaster averted. Monday I was out and did most of my writing while out and around on the laptop. On Tuesday, when I opened the laptop case, no flash drive. I shook it out, went rhough my pants / coat pockets, went back to the case, looked everywhere, called my parents' (in case I had dropped it there) and went down to the bus terminal this morning in case I lost it in transit. Nope.

Came home today, opened the case and what is the first thing I find? You guessed it. So thankfully, I don't have to write 19 stories before Friday ends, just 11 and they're small ones as well.

I had a little set back this morning. I was extremely tired and my back hurt from being out of the house for 3 hours. I had a coughing fit for an hour, causing the cat to miss a nap. The horror LOL

This viral shit sucks!!

Well, after reading things and enjoying the posies, I'm glad I peeked in. :)

Today the son and several of the youth orchestra made an appearance at a radio station. While there they played music and did an interview with a radio personality. The program was recorded and will air later next month, but we should be getting access to a CD of the program via the orchestra's conductor. :D

Ah, leaving kisses for strangers. . . there are many strange ones here on Lit. - Morning all (checks Indiana time). It's only 1:51 (shakes head). I am not going to be staying up, just woke up instantly with a slight panic as my brain tried to recall everything that was due today and I figured I better get up and write it all out, even if I can't pay it all. Hopefully now though I can get to sleep. The numbers are high, but I know juggling bills is what I do best, so with the right juggling, the numbers aren't horrific.

I hope any and all who lurk/post have a good day. This month is quieter than last, so maybe I can visit more and the kids go back to school Monday! Oh and here is the blanket. :) I finished it yesterday morning and the daughter loves it!

The blanket looks beautiful!

Are you taking requests for more? ;)

Morning and nice to see you unlurk. ;) :p

Today it looks like 'date day' is on hold. I just got a call from my mom and my dad would like some help with his baby chicks, and planting grape vines, so for my parents, I'll put my date on hold. My free movie ticket and dinner coupons aren't expiring for quite a while.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Hello and nice day wishes to you too. :rose: Thanks, bunches. I sure am glad it didn't fall apart once I had to cut the edges to fringe them. That was a scary moment.
Thank you, and you're welcome.:)

But you did it. That's what matters. I don't think I'd have patience to sit for that(to make)

I watched a lot of Huluplus and movies while making it, so yes sitting is a definite requirement. :D

Well I am off the internet for a bit. I have to work on beading that prom dress before I have to head out for a couple eye appts. - one for a kid, one for a spouse.

Have a great day!!!!!!

Have a lovely day Red:rose:

No date night? Man I'd be mad. But what can you do.

Oh yeah start working Red, maybe you can make enough to sell at Shipshawana while you are waiting for me to find my treasures!

Wishing all a good weekend. Not much going on here today, writing and a few errands.

The blanket did indeed turn out well RED, nice going.

lol - yeah, I doubt I'd get their value because of all the hours put into it.

As far as date night - I wasn't mad. In the end it was my call, but the chores needed done and dad's not in a position to do them, mom couldn't have done them and my 33 year old sister is too lazy to do them (though she lives there). Afterward, mom gave me a $20 and I took the kids to Dairy Queen and bought them some ice cream.

My son had a lot of fun, he learned how to drive the lawn mower and puttered around the yard, picking up big sticks and such, as well as helping his grandpa and his sister lay out the gardening hoses for the orchard and three gardens my dad has.

Wishing all a good weekend. Not much going on here today, writing and a few errands.

Thanks Brett. Nice to peek in and see you here. I'm only a few minutes from bed, I hope you've had a good day.
