Well, she's in the middle of the ocean on a pirate ship, so no car.
My kid was sick today, so no school for her. The college girl.
No snow and it doesn't look like it will either.

The latest reports are showing up to 24"/61cm of snow for me including blizzard warnings. Schools were closed as of this evening and it's a high probability that I'll be staying home from work too. I hate winter and I'm tired of the cold and snow.

(((HUGS))) I'm not going anywhere tonight, thankfully. As far as tomorrow is concerned, my van is useless in the snow until I can save some money to get better tires on the front end. So unless a miracle happens and there's only a small amount of snow, I'll be staying home anyway. I'm well stocked with food, water, and blankets in case the power goes out. This strong of a storm seems to be a regular occurrence every couple of years in recent memory.

I am fortunate enough even with the bald tires on the SUV it handles the snow beautifully. But we're not supposed to get much of anything here, just rain. Tomorrow is doctor day for my son. A very early appointment at the dentist, and a mid-afternoon visit to the optometrist.

I sure hope everyone in the storm area is doing okay. This morning is a trip to the dentist with the son and then later the eye doctor. He's also in dire need of a new wireless headset for his Xbox, which he'll be buying with his own money. He's quite the saver.

Good morning Red and Jett. No snow here yet but according to the radar it should be here within the next couple of hours. My company will be closing at 12, but I've decided to stay home because there's no school. I'd have to take my daughter over my ex's apartment, getting her and myself dressed and ready, then worry about coming back to pick her up in the snow to get home. Not worth the chance of getting stuck in the snow. So this means I can spend some time here today with you.
