Thanks bunches!!So it is more than likely I won't score any points in the second tier RED as I won't have stories in every category. I won't be able to do a couple of categories due to limitations.
The Cosmic Cube can actually take you inside the cube itself. Your very consciousness is can be trapped there. That actually happened to the Red Skull (that is his name, Hydra is the organization) in the comics. Not having seen the film in a while, not 100% sure if that is what happened. BTW, at one point, Odin possessed the Cosmic Cube, thus linking the film to Thor and later, to Avengers.
At a later point, the Skull's consciouness could actually grow strong enough to release him from the Cube - thus allowing an old Nazi (the Skull is older than Cap) to be alive in this century.
The next Captain America film is based on a story called "The Winter Soldier" from the Captain America comics. Depending on how much they take from Ed Brubaker's original story, you will find out where the Skull is in that. If they adapt a lot of it, I'm on the money.

Thanks bunches Brett! I knew without a doubt you'd have the answer for me.![]()
I've only ever seen one scorecard where someone reached all three cap levels. It was Cakeboss (I think) back in 2010.
Wow all 3 cap levels? And here I was thinking this year's competition was looking good.
I don't normally ask about them. We just finished watching Captain America and I caught that blue cube thing, where before I never really paid attention to it.I am soooooo behind on comics, it's not funny![]()
Ah here it is: Bakeboss --- which I think was an old name that SJP used. But PLEASE don't quote me on that. I am not positive.

Wow that's a lot of points. No won't quote and honestly don't care if it's one of her ton of alts, the id is between the winner and Laurel.
I'd just be happy to get a prize or something. As I can normally produce a fair volume of material, that is what I am hoping for. I am working on a new LIT submission right now, but as it is not original (part of a series I am coming back to) it won't get entered. The next one will though.
I buy comics on average every other week and keep up as best I can. It doesn't hurt to have friends who work in and own comics shops.

Sounds nice RJ. The comics store here was famous - I might even write up a Wiki entry on it someday if I can nail down some facts. It was opened by my (late) friend Harry in 1971. He ran it until his death in 2002 and another fellow bought it and ran it - into the ground. Over the years, several famous people came and went. I worked there for a time. I will go places and tell someone where I live and they will ask "Oh, did you know Harry?" It is still odd to me to think he's been gone 11 years this March 12.
There is precious little I don't know about the comics business, although the past few years have changed it drastically.

Afternoon all. Just a quick hello and a short visit since it's Sunday and that's one of the music days for the son.
Spouse has a movie in called "Tomorrow, When the War Began".
Since we are discussing comics, can we have a symposium on the X-universe?![]()
