Hello & good morning all from snowy Ontario. Not feeling 100% (yes, still) so if I vanish, it will be back to bed for a bit. I have to write a lot today.
I am a moderate tipper due to finances. The general rule here is 15% but as our tax adds up to almost that (it used to be exactly that) I tip the tax most of the time. My friend OVERTIPS all the time (even for crappy service) and I have recently started cracking down on him for that. If it's a joint bill, the total adds up nicely, but when we're each paying, I come off looking cheap. Nor do you tip for bad service unless you know the server well and believe he / she is just having an off day.
My new Valentine's entry is doing even better than I had hoped, so that makes me smile. For those who haven't read it, the link is below.

Sometime it doesn't pay to leave the house. Packed cafe with a bunch of writers kept me from working well at Starbucks, so I left. Well, I left after talking with the writers and reading some old stuff.

Know what you mean RJ - I debated on going out for a while, but as I have to go out (doctor) on Monday, I decided I'd wait until then (low funds for a bit) I am home writing with a nap in between and some DVD breaks as well.

You're lucky to be enjoying the nice weather Jett. Currently it's -5 here (21 Fahrenheit, up from 10) and we've had a fair bit of snow. That's why this boy stayed in. New story is coming along fine and that'll leave me a lot less to do for tomorrow. I am not pushing it, I think these breaks are making it easier to write as my brain is cleared anew for each piece.
Submitted another Survivor entry earlier today so I am staying on track there.

Yay some of the snow is finally starting to melt. Ended up taking a trip out to Sams Club to stock up on some things and found out one of the headlights on the Jeep was out. Have to say they are the easiest to change headlights I've ever changed out. Now if only the spark plugs were as easy

Hello everyone.
Today has been a great, but busy day! The daughter had 3 performances today for singing and she earned gold in all three, so in a month or so we'll be heading down to Indianapolis, where she'll perform at that the State level. Then we had a late lunch at Pizza Hut, then came home for 30 min. before heading to the In-laws, where we played CLUE and now home we are.
Jett - I like the picture of the sea lion huggin' the little penguin, much more than the picture I posted.
FS - Thanks bunches. I shall have a red one in a few days, I think. Probably the same pose unless I come up with something I like more.

Evening RED. I am glad your day was pleasant and somewhat triumphant. I have gone nowhere and done nothing, save for some writing (added a new Survivor entry) and DVD watching. Fairly non-descript Saturday.
Question - if you get immunity, is it for the entire category or just 1 story. A friend who won this week's isn't sure.

Nice to see you. It's for the first cap level of whatever category they desire. So it would be for the first 3 stories in one category. Your friend doesn't get points for the immunity, but they also don't have to worry about adding stories to that category again until all the other categories have been filled to cap level one, or gotten immunities.

I know the caps thing can be confusing. I'll explain them more as time goes. Just know this, that you must have either an Immunity, or 3 stories in every category, before you can count any points in the second teir of cap levels. You can list and link the other submissions, but not give them points.

Oh and Brett, I have a question for you . . .
In the newest Captain America movie, Hydra (the red skull guy) at the end is holding a blue cube (I assume this is the Cosmic cube). The universe appears and Hydra is sucked up into this blue ray that comes from the cube. Where did it take Hydra?
