A goodly number of us here are authors and oft-times we post about that. Currently a few of us are entered into the LIT Survivors Contest and Valentine's Contest as well, so that has been up for discussion a few times today.

Not sure how long I will be here. My head isn't liking me & feeling a bit run-down. I did try napping but it was not entirely effective. Waiting for a long-overdue delivery of medications.

You have the crud shit that's going around. It's not the flu, it's a cold, but fuck it fucks around with you, gives you good days where you can do almost anything, then bam, all you want to do is sleep.
 
You might be right RJ but I have to work this weekend if it means pushing myself. I am allowing myself ONE more day of rest and then pushing it again until Monday so I can complete my writing.

Thanks again RED. I wanted it to be cute and I wanted the interplay between the two characters to be light-hearted. Like two people who cared about each other and knew each other well. As I said, I had two others in mind when I was writing it and NO ONE so far picked up on it. Which is good - means I was subtle enough and it's a little in-joke for me alone (so far)

I think once the contest is done, I will share the inspiration for the characters. I see that it got quiet out here. I was having a cup of tea and a little med (they arrived) and I would imagine some of you are having dinner or relaxing.

Well, at least you get to do that in pretty new purple lingerie RED - and it's likely a smidge warmer there than 14 degrees. How's your snow factor? This is the most we've gotten in a number of years - bleahhh.

Luckily I have NO weekend plans so I stay in!

For images, just copy the address of the images page and then add these tags (similar to the ones for links) -- [IMG ] address of image goes here [ /IMG] (remember no spaces). Also if you have your reply to thread bar where it shows you the emotes and the font choices and such, there is a small box with a mountain scene on it. You click that and a box appears, you can paste the address to your image in that and then it OK and the image will have those special IMG tags already surrounding it.
