Really? How could he not want to hold you close? :rose:

It is good to see Vin Diesel working again...

Eh - dancing isn't his thing. My first and only dance was with a Litster and it was a fast dance, so it was fun.

I like him; I know some don't, but eh - I do. I like Dewayne Johnson as well. And NO not because of the muscles. Heck I like wimpy guys too like Tom Hanks. :D There are very few actors/actresses I don't like, simply because I like to be entertained.

Our finances took a nose dive after that. I sit back and am shocked by the radical change that has occurred in our lives financially. If we ever get back to where we were before, it'll be with a lot more level head on our shoulders, and we'll not take certain things for granted.

Financial changes seem to make the most drastic life changes. It should not be that way. Family should be the reason for the most important changes and even when in financial difficulties the family unit gets stronger. I look back at all of the times I was hurting because of lack of funds and the family did gather and pull together to make it better. I also have re evaluated priorties and kept changes that I had made when I couldnt afford to do them.. I found that in reality I didnt miss most of the things that I thought previous that I couldnt do without.

Fast dance eh? Was it grinding? ;)

He is a good actor...I just think he made some poor movie choices.

We have certainly grown as a family and this year Christmas has taken on the meaning that I know is often forgotten. I am amazed at how much we "threw away" when we had it to throw - I drove by the car wash a few weeks ago and realized I'd not used the car wash for any of our vehicles except once, and it was a week after purchasing them (both are old and used - we sold the newer one and bought two old ones to replace it). It was nothing to us to take the cars in and get them washed once every 2 weeks - what a waste.

We certainly have learned what matters, even though we always said we knew what matters, I think it took God stepping in and showing us what truly matters.

No, no grinding. lol

He is and I agree, but I can't think of any actor that hasn't made some bad choices in regards to film careers. We may not ever see those bad choices, but I bet they are out there.

God, Family, Friends..... Everything after that is unnecessary.
I always correct my kids when they say they need something. In fact they don't use the term anymore. I tell them they want things, not need them.

It is surprising that the Rock was able to pull off the kiddie movies better than he was...

I agree. :)

Yes, my kids rarely say "need" even before the downfall. We'll get back to a more stable place, it is just taking time and like I said, we're all learning and have learned. There are folks worse than us though. We do have a roof on our heads, and clothes on our backs, food on the table.

And most importantly, love in your heart.
