Three days.... What a weekend. *yawn*

My son took home an Honorable Mention for his Science Fair Project. :D There were 32 third graders he was competing against, so I am very very happy and so is he that he did so well. :D

My daughter was able to get the bank to give her Fifty dollars. One check for 25.00 will go to the local food bank, the other 25.00 will go to a woman/children shelter that my daughter is volunteering at this week.

My other daughter turns 14 this week.   And is hoping to get her first kiss from her boyfriend sometime soon.

I'm awake and it is too early, but I have to go into work early too.

Sounds like your kids are doing well, that's awesome. I wish I wasn't awake, but hey, school's important, so I'm up. :D

Have a good day, Red!

I know about the long weekend... I had to work 12 hour shifts, got the new puppy, cleaned up after the moose was turned loose in the house, planned for the long leash that I need to put into the yard.....
Would love to hear what your son did for his project. Your 14 y/o can wait for the first kiss for about another 10 years... her b/f just wants into her pants like the rest of the sharks in here want into her mom's.
The money and volunteering is fantastic... I know you are very proud of your kids, you are doing a fantastic job with them and others should take note!:kiss::kiss: :)

My spouse works 12 hour shifts too, it does make for a looooong week. He alternates 4 (6) - 12 hour days, then 4 days off (usually though he only takes 2) then he takes on 4 (6) - 12 hour nights.

I love puppies. :) We don't have any dogs or cats. We have two parakeets, and this coming weekend, we'll be buying a lizard for my son's birthday.

My daughter turns 14 today and yesterday she ended up getting that "first" kiss. She told me it was short, she sorta half way missed and they bumped noses. Sounds like the perfect first kiss, if'n I'd ever heard one. :D lol --- granted now I know they'll practice and get better at it. !

I am very proud of my kids. I do hope it continues that way for a few more decades.

Busy plans for you? I've got to work today and tomorrow, but have Thursday off. I hope to get some writing done.

Not too many plans for today... maybe a little shopping for easter dinner... start the house cleaning... figure out the menu for easter dinner... Chat a bit...
untangle the dog... untangle the dog.... untangle the dog... good thing there is only one clothesline post near her leash. Wish I could move it but alas.... can't.

Thanks! You have a good day too and yes, school definitly is important.

Thanks. I was disappointed this weekend because of the snow, but the GF should come visit next week, which I'm happy about. I have to figure out some things people can get for my bday. Not too much I want, but there are people asking, so I gotta think of something, heh.

CDs? That's always a good choice. I-tune gift cards for your Ipod (if you have one). Gift Cards to a restaurant or store of your choice. T-shirts?

I leave for work here soon. Then when I get home it's birthday cake time. :D
