His son (23/24 yrs old) did such a great job. He would have been proud of him. There were three uniformed marines there to do a miliary presentation of the flag and play taps. That song always makes me cry.

Awwwww ... the military presentations are always the hardest. My uncle was given the gun salute. My body trembledHis son (23/24 yrs old) did such a great job. He would have been proud of him. My grandfather was given that back in 1981. I still remember it. It was amazing. My grandfather-in-law also was given it in 2000. Always very impacting.

What was your day like?
I at least got to stay home for an extra hour and a half. Had to wait until they plowed the road before I could get there

Yeah, they closed schools, but that didn't really effect my kids. lol
