I guess there are differing definitions... I read an article in rolling stone about the hell's angels about a billion years ago and "getting your red wings" was explained only as going down on a menstruating female. of course, they used the cruder term, one who was "on her period".

as for my answer... I had to pick "it's ok", because I've done it and it was fine. under the same circumstances, I'd do it again. if there was enough blood to leave marks, tho... I'd have to seriously think about it.

I voted hell yes.

If a woman is freshly showered, and wearing a tampon...I will do everything but get right in it. I've accidentally gotten blood in my mouth, but it was only a drop, and i didn't like it but didn't freak out and run from the room either. In fact, she never knew. I tend to stick to everywhere but her hole, and usually have no problem. I've never penetrated one in any way at that time.

Is this a weird subject to broach, or is it just me?

if that's true, you should encourage him to make love to you at those times. in my opinion, anyway. also in my opinion, he should not have a problem with it. I can understand why guys may not want to perform oral sex at that time of the month, but I see no reason to refrain from other kinds of sex... especially if it's especially enjoyable for their partner.
