What a memorable film... very representational too, a lot of hidden meanings, I suspect. Anyone seen it? Monk totally hated it... but he could easily kill someone for cheating on their lover.

i haven't seen the movie, but i've "chanced" upon Zalman King's episodic Red Shoes on a cable movie channel a couple times. Man has David Duvochy (sp?) fallen from grace (he hosts the rather soft/softcore series nowadays)

Which one? There are 9 or 10 'Red Shoe Diaries' movies now - not including all the episodes for the Showtime series of the same name. Good show though, sorta like porn with a plot - who would have thunk it!

I think Duchovny stared on Red Shoe Diaries before he started X-files and kept doing it for a while while X-files was filmed in Vancouver.

Course I can never be sure, but as a video rental, and X File freak, I think Young is pretty much right. And I enjoyed the ones I saw. Special the one where the cheated on wife gets back at hubby by sleeping with his mistress. Woof woof.
