Recovering

Well, It has been a while(a few weeks) and I am sure some of you are wondering where I went. I just was released from the hospital burn and recovery unit.

I had a pot of hot burning oil explode in my face causing 2nd and 3rd degree burns all over my face and hands. I am just getting home now and only have 20% use of my right hand(so I am typing this all left handed).

I start physical therapy this week, and perhaps if all goes well I will be online again soon. Forgive if i do no respond quickly as I tire quickly and making a post requires a great deal of energy.

I will check back in a day or two.

While we've not always agreed about everything, what happened to you is not something I would wish on anyone, especially not someone with as good a heart as you have - and who has been a good friend to many here, including me. I will keep you in my thoughts and keep some positive thoughts and vibrations flowing your way until you're fully healed. As KC said, don't worry about responding often - just take good care of yourself, and get well!

I hope you have the same kind of luck that I did with physical therapy: all the therapists that I dealt with resembled either Jennifer Lopez or Jennifer Anniston.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I've been badly burned a couple of times, though probably no where near as severe. I won't pretend I know what you are going through beyond the general "I've had surgery and understand it can take a long time with physical therapy to recover." stuff.

But I'll keep you close, bro. Do what you need to, get better.
