Record number of posts?

Does anyone have any idea, at this point in Lit's short life, who has the record for racking up their # of posts the fastest. There are some pretty amazing #'s these days. Some people, I've noticed, have racked up damn near a thousand posts in a month, 2 months, 3 months. I'll assume that the fun threads are allowing members to up their tally pretty quickly. And if you respond with a one-liner to each topic & reply you can obviously up your number quickly.

My guess is the record holder is probably someone who was on the board from its infancy, when you were probably posting quite often within a fairly small group.

under bobtoad777 I broke nakedhunnys 500 record in 17 days and her 1000 record in 28 days. I am not sure i think there have been some close calls but none quite that fast yet i had only broke both her reocrds by a day and then only because she was threatening me not to break them.

I'm guessing you'd be wrong there. Go back (if you feel like it) and look at the threads started in the earlier days of the BB. People responded once and they were happy with that, now you respond, and you get another 20 - 30 answers, and if your like me, you like to respond to everyone, so you end up posting quite a bit in one thread.

As the Numbers of members have gone up, and the number of threads increase, so then does a person's # Tally, but as long as that person is having fun, then what does it matter?

I couldn't even begin to guess, and I have no clue whatsoever how you would get that information either (LOL), not that it's a job I would like mind you.

Like I say have fun, be happy, it doesn't matter what # of post's you have by your name.

now that i see she isnt even close it makes my thoughts on some of ya even crazier!

Isolde got around a thousand in about a month. now a couple months later she has well over 2 thousand. and i bet ya most of ya who dont venture outside the general board didnt even know who she was when she started posting in here, cuz all her posts were in the RPG threads.

*shakes head* you guys are crazy! now i post on another board and have been since september and have almost 2 thousand posts. ive been in here almost as long and have less then 200, hehe. i doubt ill make it to the 2000 mark in a few years, probably not at all. Im happy trying though.

I have the record for the highest number of posts done in one hour. That's 171 in one hour straight over at Flamingo Blues "Am I the only one not in the Neverending threads?" thread. Guess that counts for something.

*Nods and hugs* I hear ya. That whole non-stop posting at Blues thread was a way for me to take my mind off of my own problems at the time. I did it all in his thread in a way to try and avoid getting flamed like I used to awhile back. The board is a good way to escape reality for awhile.

Your number has increased a LOT since I first joined. I think you were around 1400 when I first registered with Lit. That would mean you've been posting more often in the last few months then you had before. Seems like ever since September people have been posting a lot more then they used to. Must be the Nitelight syndrome. lol
