Anybody feel like having a bit of fun in here today?

I sure as hell do, I've been feeling way to depressed over the past couple of days.

I hereby designate this the "SILLY THREAD".

Rules:

- No pissing and moaning.

- No backbiting or bitchiness.

- Play nice, but play hard.

- No other rules, I love chaos.

Lou

P.S. Threadjack at will. In this thread, I don't give a shit. :D

Interesting post there lou.

MMX registers are aliased on the floating-point registers, so you should clear the MMX state with the EMMS instruction intrinsic before issuing an x87 floating-point instruction. PM me for an example.

Hey Lou
Where have you been the last days???? We missed you.

Hope it's nothing serious that makes you feel depressed.

So come on and smile will ya? Just for me?

:D

Ok, so here's one for you,

'There once was a lady called Lou,
Who was funny and beautiful too,
Oh, I forgot to add smart,
That's the most crucial part,
I hope she'll no longer feel blue.'

Joe, you *know* what that does to me.

Floating-Point (x87), MMX, SSE (Streaming SIMD Extension), and SSE2 (Streaming SIMD Extension 2) operations are executed by the two floating-point execution blocks. MMX instructions are 64-bit packed integer SIMD operations that operate on 8, 16, or 32-bit operands. The SSE instructions are 128-bit packed IEEE single-precision floating-point operations. The Pentium 4 processor adds new forms of 128-bit SIMD instructions called SSE2. The SSE2 instructions support 128-bit packed IEEE double-precision SIMD floating-point operations and 128-bit packed integer SIMD operations. The packed integer operations support 8, 16, 32, and 64-bit operands.

I had no idea you were easy in that sort of way.

I think I misplaced my keys. Has anyone seen them?
I slept on a park bench last night. Not bad except for the pigeons roosting on my forehead as a morning greeting.

Why should I break the habit of a lifetime, eh? ;)

Oh, and yes, you summed me up rather well in that quote you ripped of mine a few posts back. :p

You've had it if Lou notices you're missing......better run!

Yes. Yes, absolutely! I was thinking the same thing!

Oh, I noticed all right. I've just been waiting for him to come back with his tail between his legs, begging forgiveness.

Yep, Joe knows all about my techy, geeky ways.

I hope you were nice to the pigeons, or, failing that, bagged a couple for your food supplies.

You're SO welcome honey.
I'm glad I made you smile.
And I think it's a good thing looking forward. Believe me if somebody knows about depression it's me. :(

Yep, 'tis a bastard thing.

I usually beat mine with a sledgehammer. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Whatever, the headache afterwards is a bitch.

Quick! Let me hide under your clothes, she'll never find me he......,hmmmmm,......well she might find me here by accident, but I think it would be a great place to hide.

:)

I finally isolated the cause of my recurring headaches, sudden panic attacks and fits of ucontrolled weeping.

Fortunantely they go back to school tomorrow.
