OK authors, I am one of the new kids on the block. When you are one of the new kids on the block, you expect a joke or two at your expense. However, this joke is in extremely poor taste. Disrespecting the mentally retarded is NOT a proper subject for a joke. I will expect an apology from whoever started the joke. (It is just a bad joke, right?)

The old story of the wife who get fat and the husban who has no flaws. However the wife is able to get
the same high paying job as the looser huban. It is my wish that if this author is going to include himself
in the survior contest he will be voted out soon. The tribe has spoaken not worth a score.

To the person who posted this bad joke:
You are trying to parody (presumably) a fat, ugly militant feminist who is incapable of understanding the plot of 'California Sunshine,' cannot spell, does not understand English word usage and is determined to make a fool of herself in public. Shame!!! (It is just a bad joke, right?)

Of course I deleted the public reply as it was in extremely poor taste. (It is just a bad joke, right?)

If it is not just a bad joke, I am going to submit it to the Guiness Book of World Records as the first known negative IQ. If anyone attempt to 'beat me to the punch' on the Guiness Book of World Records submission I will report you to Laurel for plagiarism. (Please tell me it is just a bad joke.)

It seems that you got the sort of feedback we all get from time to time. As it is a public comment you can delete it.

Go to submissions; view - you should see a legend moderate public comments

Click on that and delete the comment which is all the attention it deserves.

Anonymous feedback can be a bad experience. You can turn it off. You can turn off public comment as well.

Most feedback is reasonable and fair. Some isn't. You were unlucky to get a bad one this soon.

I just wanna know who belongs to the tribe. Does it involve semi-nudity and tropical islands? If so, count me in!

Oh, and what the hell does "spoaken" mean?

;)

Ya'll shouldn't be picking on poor old Annon. At least he managed to use some multisyllabic words this time ;)

R. Richard - We are all making fun of the idiot who sent you feedback, of course.

This kind of nonsense happens from time to time. As extremely negative feedback usually comes from an "anonymous" source (complete with horrible grammar and spelling) we generally ignore it.

(OR we post the stupid feedback comments and giggle and point.)

:D

What bugs me is:

If you're gonna make a comment, why do it and remain anonymous. Personally I think it shouldn't be allowed.

The ability to do so invites comments ranging from mischeivous to ludicrous.

Also, if a comment is genuine, and worth the time it takes to type it, why be ashamed to own up to it.

At least have the guts to stand up and be questioned about your views.

Sorry, but comments by "anonymous in ....(wherethefuckever)...." really piss me off.

Don't they Svenskflicka?? (that alright for you love???)

Just a note R. richard. The person who posted this is notlikely to be a frequenter of the Ah. The ods are really good he/she is just a wandering troll. Feedback like this is not a joke the old hands play on the rookies.

Ok, I have now read that comment three times, and although it wasn't very nice, I can't see anything mentioned in the commetnt that was "Disrespecting the mentally retarded". Did I miss something? It lookes like just a fairly regular piece of slanderous feedback. We all get those. Well, most of us anyway.

(Honetly, your reply here was more of a personal attack than that comment was as far as I can tell. Chill out, and Do Unto Others, as it is said.)

You just got in the way of one of the many on-line dunces, who thinks the anonymity behind their screens is an excuse for being uncivilized. Besides, I doubt that you will find the poster of that comment on this forum. We're a little bit more well bahaved than that.

There are millions of people on the Internet, and it's the assholes that shout the most and the loudest, just ignore them. :)

Another thing, I looked up your story, and noted that you have gotten a comment from the legendary Laura & Lisa. That, my firend, is nothing but a badge of honor around here. :)

R. Richard, don't let them get to you. You are one in a long line of victims of these trolls.

I just want to add something positive about "Anonymous". All of my feedback from an anonymous source has been positive (up until now, that is:rolleyes: ), if sometimes a little suggestive. I think one big reason for some people supplying anonymous feedback is that they don't want a reply email. For reasons known only to themselves, they don't want an email from a sexy sedtructress of an author (ha ha!) from Literotica arriving in their inbox. I can think of many reasons why not. There is no way anonymous feedback should be banned.

Public comments are a different thing, and equally as easy to do anonymously. It is also easy for us authors to delete these public comments. Something which I would hate to ever have to do, even if the comment was negative. Isn't it true what they say? "All publicity is good publicity."

Lou

P.S. Lew, Svenska won't see your comment in your post, she's got you on ignore. This means that she can see you have posted, but she can't read your messages. :p

Oh well, if she's that thin skinned, perhaps she should stay indoors!

Anyway lou love, I see your point, but (isn't there always a "but " when someone says that?) if I've got something to say, I'm prepared to put my name beside it and take/accept/listen to any feedback, good or bad.

Or is that just me, typically not holding back????

Or am I just thick skinned ??

Or am I just a bloke ???

What's a sedtructress ?????

I have to say I agree completely with Ice. So you got negative feedback from someone with a wry sense of humour who is basically saying your story is clichéd and, in his/her opinion, doesn't cut it. Other than that (and is there anything wrong with wry humour?), I think you're really blowing this whole thing out of proportion.

Your reply was far more insultuous than the comment, if you ask me, and explains why so many people prefer to remain anonymous. If every author in Lit was this thin skinned, most of my comments would be anonymous too.

What I don't get about Anonymous is that he leaves so many messages to me on one an the same story..?

I received one anonymous public comment of negative feedback to my very first story, “Aural Rape.” At least, I believe it is negative. The grammar is rather challenging, so it may actually mean anything!

In any case, I did not delete it.

My feeling is that if any reader encounters the comment, tries to figure out what it says, and then tries to decide if it is justified, has already expended more time considering my story than is usual of most readers. :D

R.R., it seems you been attended to well. As I don't want to start a new thread for this, here's a recent non-anon. feedback which I am still contemplating (not really :p ).
