Real reason some people support unending mass immigration

The reason most liberals and many ethnic activist groups support never-ending immigration, legal, illegal, or otherwise (refugee, etc), is because they view it as a way to make whites an ever smaller percentage of the population, and ideally have them absorbed into other groups. The fact that immigration costs workers jobs and depresses wages as well as harming the environment is not important to them because everything is about race, and their hatred for whites. Since immigrants today are 90% or more from what are generally considered to be "non-white" ethnic backgrounds, this is the only real explanation for liberals supporting this.

Capitalist conservatives and wall street are at least honest about why they support it. They want the cheaper labor. Ultimately the only color they care about is green.

That's the dirty little hidden-in-plain-sight secret. Immigration is about racism after all, from those who support it. They deliberately support BECAUSE of the ethnic composition of the people coming and hope to change existing demographics to reduce a particular group they don't like.

Nonattention to forming a policy that they know the Republicans are going to shoot down anyway.

More likely, those like restaurants and construction companies and landscape companies, who have an unending stream of people desperate for work at any price, and since they are illegally here, they can pay them what they want, or not pay them, and know they won't face any issues, because the immigrant is afraid of the authorities It should tell you everything you want to know that none of the hotheads on immigration, including The Donald, are proposing severe penalties for companies hiring illegal immigrants, and the reason is that they want an unlimited supply of cheap labor that businesses can exploit, illegal immigrants are a boon to such businesses. If they went after the employers, they would dry up the jobs, and it would dry up immigration as well. With the last recession, illegal immigration from Mexico and South America actually slowed down, they saw a lot of reverse migration, because it was a tough job climate.

As far as it being racist, yeah, it is. It is funny, we focus on the immigrants coming from the south (not surprising, given the numbers), but no one is talking about another relatively big flow of illegal immigrants, from China and Asia, that are being brought in by boat. It is nowhere near as large as those from south of Border, but how come no one talks about having a defense line against those being smuggled in this way? Maybe because people see Asians as being the equivalent of white?

The reality is that despite talking about allowing legal immigration, many of the anti illegal immigrant forces also want to make it harder to immigrate to the US, rather than coming up with rational immigration laws that allow people to immigrate legally, that gets rid of the current system that is broken, they want to put up walls and say "no brownies allowed, no spanish speakers", it is kind of a different version of the immigration laws that restricted immigration from China (Asian exclusion act) or Southern Europe (the 1920 immigration act), when they decided too many of 'those' people were coming here (ie southern europeans, Asians, rather than British or German or Scandinavian, who were 'white'; it is funny when I hear Italians and Greeks and folks from the Balkans and such, who were excluded for being 'non white' talk about the US losing its 'white identity'. Much like the Chinese, they eventually became 'white' in other people's eyes, as emphasis shifted to the immigrants from south America, many of whom are native Indian populations and don't like like the descendants of white settlers to places like Mexico and Central and South America).
