Regarding the stories here at lit,

Is fantasy the only reality? This site is chock-full of steamy, interesting, very erotic stories. Some say "This really happened" or "TRUE STORY" while others make it explicit that they are in fact just fantasies.

I know there is no 100% way to know for sure but does anyone know of any other site where the stories are REALLY true accounts of illicit sexual encounters?

I'd love to talk to on e-mail or read a story about a REAL woman who REALLY did have sex with 10 big black men or a guy who REALLY did watch his wife have sex with 3 dudes from the bar. Any ideas of other "REAL ENCOUNTER" sites that are free like lit?

Or would anyone REALLY post a true story here? Hey, here's an idea: Have stories with some pictures kinda a collaboration between the stories and ameteur pics sections. The readers could even tell/suggest things the actors could do or clothes they wear, then we would know it was REALLY, REAL!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think so, in fact lit lists some other sites on their front page. If lit has "REAL" stories then fine, I'll read them here. I will check out yours.

I did used to do posts and try and chat but spent many hours searching for a woman to e-mail with that would discuss her "REAL" experiences, they were either non-existent, turned out to be men or they wouldn't share. I shared mine which are kinda tame and uninteresting, pretty "normal" compared to all the stuff that is fantasized about here at lit.

Um, yeah, I got lotsa REAL stories, but all the sexy stuff happened to me WAY before I was eighteen, so I can't post them here. It's against the RULES, just like my whole little life. Besides, the REAL stories are like, totally BORING. They won't have the "ten guys at once" stuff, I mean, give me a break!

Hey, I understand about kiddie-porn and I totally disapprove of exploiting kids, but it's kind of sad when my REAL LIFE gets censored out. I mean, watch one evening of prime time TV. Then imagine you are thirteen, going into junior high, watching that stuff. So then tell me you don't smoke pot under the stands and blow your boyfriend. Hey, the ultimate moral solvent these days, that destroys all resistance, is, "Everybody does it!" You think the kids weren't watching "Monicagate?" When the Leader of the Free World tells us oral sex isn't sex, you think the kids weren't listening? What PLANET do you live on?

If you want to protect kids, you gotta do a LOT more than keep under-eighteens from looking at porn on the internet. It's uselsess anyway: Kids have no need to look at pictures of grownups doing grossly what they can do finely themselves. So I'd love to share my stories. They are mostly funny, and it's stuff that really happens all the time. The stories aren't "nasty," but they do have a sexual theme, because that's what my life was like back then. I'd love to share, but I can't here, sorry.

Sometimes I post on usenet, which is where kids go to look at porn because there is, like, ZERO censorship, and all you need to get on is access to a newsreader. Usenet is chock full of SPAM, but if you wade through it all, you can get pretty close to the ground. It's as "real" as it gets!

Well, I did it. I wrote a story. First in a long time. It's very short, though. Barely over 1000 words. I could have called it "flash fiction" but there's a word limit for that. ("Around 500 or so" but not over 1000.) I even wrote about a past sexual experience I've had. I don't think it's very good, though. But, I guess the fact that it's after 4am here may have something to do with that? lol

Anyway, I know I'll look it over again, but I don't think I'm gonna try to add filler to it. Anyone wanna read it, perhaps check for some typos and whatnot? Give me their opinion before I submit?

I also know some "real" stories in some magazines that hard to believe.

Like: A girl was on vacation with her girlfriends and her brother. They did skinny dipping, but the boy always had a hard one. "Real Stories"

In one sense, I think the so-called "True Stories" are, in a sense, the modern mythology. The ancients used myths as an attempt to explain the unexplainable everyday phenomena that makes up "real life." In such a sense, the stories are not literally true but are accurate representations of complex behavior of complex beings. So, while Europa may have not been literally carried off by Zeus disguised as a divine bull, the themes and results are as true as yesterday's headlines.

Few "True Stories" are literal truth (and to be cynical, ever fewer are "literary") per se, but they contain those grains of truth in situation, characterization, conflict, and resolution that contribute to the mythic pool we all bathe in as human beings.

Certain human sexual conduct has been determined for various reasons to be forbidden. That being the case, the fruit of the forbidden vine is always sweeter to the imagination. As Bill Cosby once quipped, "God told Eve, 'Don't bite the apple.' The first thing Eve asked was 'Where is it?' "

The Adam and Eve story is a prime example of such "truth" hidden in a "story." In my opinion, Eve gets a really bad rap, and the consequences seem way out of line for the offense. <I know, I know; the moral is supposed to be "obedience." But if God didn't want curious humans to taste this dangerous substance, why didn't he put a fence around it, or a safety cap on it? As a parent, if you don't want a child to swallow something bad, you don't leave it plain sight and simply instruct the child "do not touch." And poor Eve was only a few days old, after all!>

The Oedipus trilogy is perhaps a better example. The chain of horrors is set off by one man's innocent bedding of his mother, both of whom were unkowing of their offense. Whereas Adam and Eve knew of their "wrongdoing," Oedipus and Jocasta were both ingorant of the forbidden nature of their actions.

I guess my point is that so-called "True Experiences" are at best one person's recollection of an event. Recollections are colored as time passes, and all parites involved will tell a different, sometimes radically different, version of the same event.

It is the story-teller who puts events into perspective, allows for fallability of memory, and sets the event<s> into context for the reader who wasn't there, can't cross-examine the participants, and is looking only for entertainment or enlightenment (and may get both in a particularly well-written story).

There really are very few who have engaged in the extreme sexual activities that seem appealing to readers at lit and can write a complete sentence.

However, my point is how do you know if it is "real" or not.

I can tell you I am writing a story about bondage, flogging, servitude and bisexual submission, but how would you know if it was real or how much of it was real?

I have real life experiences that are marketable, yet the actual story leading the the act would fall flat if written up.
