Eighteen year old teenager from a privileged background expressing herself is my take on it. The only downside is paying for a Secrete Service detail enabling her to go out and protest like that. A lot of kids come from political and entertainment back grounded families and jump into activism. Malia's just a new addition to a long list and by no means the first child of a POTUS to do so. Her only exception is she's the first child of a black POTUS to do so. While its noteworthy is it really that big of a deal? Again my only irk with any of it is her circumstances require a tax payer funded Secrete Service detail. She's lived in a glass house for a long time so she's going to be noticed and criticized. I get your point but I'm not into name distortions of politicians and their families. I'm sure that makes me more of an out cast here but its alright.
