Halloween is close.

Even closer will be the first submission date for the halloween story contest.

Met any ghosts and ghoulies with interesting sexual encounters to relate?

If not, start plotting now.

I need to get busy plotting. I have never entered a contest but Halloween tweaks my interest. I LOVE halloween. I'm so excited.

Your current AV seems appropriate. All you need is a ghost to blow the candle out and icy hands reaching for...

Rewriting the story for the contest. Pleased that I should be posting my first Lit. story in nearly 3 years (I think, or two). Especially considering it's the sotry I began for the contest 2 years ago (or 3:rolleyes: ). Compeition rough in these, Ogg?

Yes. Especially for the coveted last place for the worst rated/least read genuine attempt.

However you are almost guaranteed far more reads, far more votes and more exposure than a normal 'non-competition' story and if you win - you get real money. That's not bad for a free site.

In the Nude Day competition I wrote a story with Muslim characters. That was aimed at the last place and nearly got it.

Why don't people like Muslims?

This time, perhaps I'll do a pastiche of The Arabian Nights. That should put people off.

Someone asked me about it last week. I said I was gonna skip it. But I had a flashback/nightmare/idea today.

I'm in.

I started mine a while back, right after the last contest ended, but it's been at a standstill for a while. Gotta get back on it pretty soon and finish it up so I have time for at least a cursory edit.:)

shit, it's THAT soon?

<satan rushes to his burning typewriter, realizes that a clump of ashes is a poor writing surface and darts to his Powerbook instead>

Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble...I'm trying to think of something interesting to cook up in my cauldron for the contest. I entered the Earth Day contest and that story, even though it didn't win, is still the most read story that I have on Lit. I'm definitely looking forward to the stiff competition. :D

Pure Blasphemy

I was actually on the ball for once this time, and have three stories finished and ready to submit. Thought I'd experiment with a few different ideas and approaches, see if I could come up with stuff that'd appeal to a wide range of readers. A little something for everyone, hopefully.

So I'll have:
"Spectral" -- encounter between mysterious lovers
"Touch of a Hand" -- young people find fun at carnival
"In the Pumkpin Patch" -- gruesome tale for Erotic Horror

Sabledrake

Damn. I haven't finished my Rain Story yet (and someone used almost an identical name for the main character already), I've still to write a novel synopsis for the Richard and Judy contest and now this!

How am I going to fit in all the drinking?

I have an idea, gonna try antoher erotic horror story since my last went over so well. I think I have the inside track to the coveted last place award this time :)

I somehow doubt that, since I plan on writing one for this contest. My awful story will be much worse.

Is this frightening or what?

One of my halloween submissions will be going under the Romance category.

Bump because the time draws nigh when all stories shall be revealed.

Fag-Ash, oops sorry, Og

I'm thinking moths this year. Sex under the moon with the furry moth man.

Moths have always been very spooky and creepy to me.
