Another 1,000 people have viewed the story since I last checked, which is great but they are not voting. Apparently I have the lowest score for the contest as per the Nude Day contest support thread in AH.

At the moment I am at 3.53 with 53 votes.

Needless to say, aside from you that is, I don't feel very supported as a writer.

I used to be a regular here but for some time now I've just had no time. But you tempted me and I loved it. Your dialogue is great and the humor is deftly and wickedly done. You are a bad girl.

I think you put this in the wrong category. Erotic Couplings readers tend to go for a good tab A-slot B tale with a plot/dramatic tension. The stylized dialogue, false naivety of the 'heroine', not to mention the wine spluttering vulgarity humor of the tampon, sits uneasily here. I would bet you'd have been well in the '4's with a Humor category.

Have a look at Humor, especially Jenny Jackson and her PI, Dick. Taking the piss out of love and sex is not easy, and you seem to have a talent for it that I love. Please write some more in the genre and post links here.

PS: Ogg, great writer that he is, has more laureates for last position in a contest than he likes to count. He's also got some pink 'H's for some super stuff.

Persevere, you are a talented, but more importantly, 'readable' writer. Keep the faith.

Thank you, D, for reading and for posting, keeping my thread alive. I'm working on a new story for the summer contest. It really makes me want to continue when I hear such kind words. It will be in the Letters and Transcripts category but it will have something for everyone, I promise you that.

I don't know how to change the category without reposting the whole story. When I posted it the first time I edited it directly and so I don't have the finished copy on my computer.

I have posting-problems too. Chpt 1 of my What Men Want story has been in reposting limbo for seeming ever. All I did was remove the foreword. I'm thinking you might just have to re-submit? It shouldn't be a problem - the original posting will stay there till it's replaced.

O.K. so I just figured out that I could copy and paste the story, write edited, and then change the category. I'm not sure why that seemed so complex before, but now it's done. Thanks for the advice, Jaymal.

Soon Casting Couch will appear in the humor category and hopefully those readers will find it amusing.
