As you can tell by the name I kinda have a thing for zombies. Though, I rarely delve into the horror category for fear that I will be wading though tentacle and rape scenes. Blood and gore? No problem. Sodomizing catatonic bodies or literal skull fucking? Um... no, 'Check Please!'

With the start of the 5th season of 'The Walking Dead' and the recent announcement of Robert Kirkman's Offshoot (of his own story) and my love for George A. Romero, I propose this;

A post zombie apocalypse story that revolves around Character interaction. Relationships, Friendships, Rivalries, clashing Groups... etcetera etc.

What I am looking for is an Author (people) who is/are willing to:

First and foremost, deal with my unbelievably crude and crass informal writing style and yet be able to maintain their own propriety.

Second, someone who is actually in this for the long haul. To eventually (though Halloween is right around the corner so maybe a quikie) release a 15ish (lit page) entry a month. at minimum.

Third. And this may depend on whomever answers. Availability to actually talk on maybe a phone or something.

Fourth. For the future. You can only bring into this what you know. There is or would be no interwebz so... Other people to cameo as characters with real life skills. i.e. skinning a dear and tanning the hide, making beer (priorities! I can do this part), creating power (I can help here), automotive repair, combat (I can help here again), etc.

Anyway, can't give it all away. So, who's in or has ideas?

I'll help brainstorm, what you want is a lot bigger commitment than I am willing to make as a main writer but I'll be happy to help around the edges.

I'd love to see some incest in a zombie-pocolypse. A whole theres nobody else boo-hoo, then once they've done and screwed their family relationship up they meet a bunch of other people.

Creating the dynamic on whether or not to reveal to the group that they are related. Or keep doing what they were doing.

and some people would be like boo-hoo I just got my sister pregnant (big nono in a zompocolypse) and fucked my mom. while some would be like. "Hmm not bad" and others would be like. "We're better people than they are so why stop...?"

wanna help for a short one? Ever read "World War 'Z'"? just spisnippetsnets and news paper clippings really

Helps to create back story and to allow the reader to understand the entire world.

Oh yeah. I LOVED that book. You know how people break up sections of stories with
the:

******

yeah.. Imagine that but its another person telling their story. Short sweet and gory.

I'd love to spit out a short one once the universe as a whole has been set up or if you want it to be world building at least enough for the rules to kinda be in place. What kind of zombies are we dealing with? Nothing quite like stories that fuck with the cannon.

Afk

Anyway, I wanted to get this up before the weekend so that there was a little buzz going on. Gotta go out of town for the weekend but I'll bring my tablet and try to remember to charge it so I can check in.

I'm on lit maybe six of seven days so I'll be here and if you really want to try even if it is short I think I may do the WWZ thing. But I'll have to post those with the appropriate credits obviously. hell, maybe that's the best way to start. So, PM me if you're interested.

If AFK for the weekend. Girlfriend and a job and all that.

I look forward to a lot of help.

The problem with this scenario is that the cast of the Walking Dead look like they haven't bathed in months. Also, I don't think the ladies are going to be keeping up with the legs/armpit shaving or waxing. Hell, I haven't seen anyone grab a roll of toilet paper in 5 seasons. Plus, baby Judith is a huge liability that will probably get someone killed.

You could probably smell them from a 100 yards downwind.

zombies don't have a sense of smell (or at least they hang out with other dead and rotting bodies so that wouldn't matter. and everyone else smells as bad so group one isn't likely to smell group two before they spot them.) and not everyone smells like ass without a shower every day. not to mention that there are basic forms of bathing that are not hard to do on a daily basis. also, do you really think I'd let the first grocery store raid go without mention of at least Bic Silky smooth razors. Like dudes are the only ones thinking about getting some. It would be assumed that a couple guys grab a box (enthusiasts case) of condoms. You can only take what you can carry though...

They probably haven't but once you've been around it for a while you can't smell it as anybody whos ever been camping and even gone a couple of days without bathing can tell you. You acclimate very quickly and Maggie is still hot as shit.

While I doubt I'd be able to provide the length you want, I like the idea a lot. Society collapsing, the social norms no longer apply. Why not do what you want?

Actually The Walking Dead provides a reason why in a narrative and if you prefer Urban Dead (been a few years since I played but when it was active) provided other reasons why you don't do what you want. Ultimately society is built on rules and social norms and if you want to see tomorrow you have to adhere to them. Even if the social norms are set by your current social group. Rape, pillage, murder, cannibals. They still all work within the rules of their individual groups and when they don't the groups inevitably collapse.
