And what about all the flooding?!?! I used to want to go there to visit my friend cause he said they had fireflies... I have never seen them here.

heck, we'd be lucky just to be able to get ONE drop of rain right now - I think we ended up with a deficit of around 14" for last year....the floods aren't all that common around here since most of the rain storms are come and go type storms, but once in a blue moon a freak storm dumps a good amt of rain - I haven't seen it do too much in the last few years, but I remember the ones out west of here when I was a kid, out by your friend

its a great place to visit...definately someplace you have to visit atleast once in your lifetime....its boring to me, then again I've lived here for 30 yrs also LOL
