Rating threads...

Anyone know what happened to that option? Did Laurel take it out when she changed the appearance of the board again? I could see how some of the kids here could vote high or low for certain threads just to fuck with people, but over all I thought it was a nice addition. Anyone else agree? Disagree? Have answers? lol

Manu's working on trying to make the board as fast as possible, and I think he felt the speed benefit was fairly substantial in removing that feature. As we get faster and better machines, it might make a comeback. It does still exist in some forums, like the SRP & RPG, where it seems to make sense.

Sounds good to me! It was just one of those things that was "here one minute and gone the next". lol

I really don't care for that rating system anyways....a thread may be shitty to some, yet highly amusing and entertaining to others...so its not really valid....I don't like any rating system for that matter

That's the point of the raiting system...that's the point of being able to vote on stories. It allows people to state their opinion on something...

stories yes I can see rating, but threads? I don't think rating threads is really necessary....

but thats just my opinion, many people think many different things
