Rating count mismatch between Control Panel and Top List

This is not a big deal, but I thought that I would mention it in case it’s a symptom of a larger problem.

Over a week ago, the rating count of my recently submitted story dropped from my Control Panel, but not from the “Top” list. The count in the Top list has consistently been one higher than the count in the control panel for about a week now. If the rating count is incorrect in the Top list, I was wondering whether the rating average was incorrect in the Top list. I can only see one decimal place in the Control Panel rating for this story, so I can’t tell whether the average ratings match.

For what it’s worth, about an hour after the change occurred in “Unstrusted,” the rating count also dropped in my other recently submitted story “Reckless.” However, the rating count in the Control Panel matches the rating count in the Top list for this story. Someone had immediately one-bombed this story shortly after it was published (1st rating), and I suspect that the original one vote is still there.

Your control panel is updated in real time. ( More or less ) The toplists only update once every 24 hours, and there are some quirks with it where sometimes an entry won't update until the current vote total exceeds the vote total at the time it appeared on the toplist.

The rating in the Search Results match the rating in my Control Panel. It’s only the Top Lists that seem to be including the rogue Troll vote(s).

I’ve noticed that the Top lists are only updated every 24 hours. However, that is not the source of the mismatch here. The mismatch continues even when there are no vote changes, and the jump in average has never changed. Here are the latest counts.
