A bunch of little circumstances made work tonight suck.

1. Two people called out
2. Two people no call no showed
3. One person was told they did not need to attend.
4. It was busey as hell
5. The septic system backed up into the bathroom, kitchen, and stalk room.
6. The camp in town decided they wanted 25 double cheese burgers, 5 double hamburgers, 25 packs of 4 peice nuggets, 25 small fries, one fellet of fish, one hamburger happy meal, and one hot fudge sunday.
7. Before I even got there, my knee poped out of joint on me, so I was in pain all night.

I already warned the store manager if she gives me a shift where one, two, and/or three happen, with out anyone telling me so I can prepair, that I will walk out and not say a fucking word.

A combo of drinking, and pain pills, yeah. Not a good mix.

And I am never working in food again, unless it's after I get my degree in corprate psych and I'm working in advertising...

Yea that does suck big time! The pay is little enough and they don't pay xtra for doung triple the work when people don't show up. I would want to get revenge upon the call-ins..but the no-show/ no-call's get fired do they not?

One of the no-calls was a rehire. I think he's been taken off of the schedule. One of the call-outs was fired. Trust me, if I had the authorty to fire, the other no-call and call-out would be fired.

One of the call ins was told he can either come to work on time, or he dosn't have a job anymore. The other call in does this about 5 times a month.

The polocy for no calls says your first no call is termination, but it's not enforced. It should be, though

actually why wait for that to happen. obviously this kind of stuff happens frequently. start looking for a better job now and maybe in a few weeks you'll have a better paying job without having to resort to walking out without a source of income. a waitress job in even a crappy diner will pay two to three more times than any fast food joint.

I make fairly decent wages now. At least, I make enough to live comfortably. Hell, I can afford to take a $3/hr pay cut if I get 40 hours a week... I really don't want to work in food again. I just havn't had a good expierence with it.
