ummm... i've been premenopausal for the past nearly three years. It's not going to go away for a long, long time or until they take all my parts out. Whichever comes first.matriarch said:You think its fun at this age.........you just wait until menopause hits.

They didn't do my tubal right and it sent me straight into it. i was less than amused.matriarch said:Sorry to hear that, I've been enduring it for the past 5 years or so, and I've about had enough. Going to get it sorted when I get back to the UK.

since I had mine done i have felt icky, what exactly didn't go right? I'd like to know if thats what could be happening to meentitled said:They didn't do my tubal right and it sent me straight into it. i was less than amused.
I swear when they did mine when I had my C-section they left something in there...like an alien embryo or something.woodnymph_O said:since I had mine done i have felt icky, what exactly didn't go right? I'd like to know if thats what could be happening to me
To do that, they would have to un-female me. (total hysterectomy) They don't want to do that because i'm 'too young' and 'might regret it later' and on and on... even though that's what -i- asked them to do in the first place. Big bone of contention between me and those that claim to be medical professionals in this state.matriarch said:Sheesh, I would imagine. Can't they terminate it earlier, rather than make you endure years of it? (I can't imagine anything more like hell !!)
There's a lot of things that can go wrong with it. To have it done RIGHT is actually kind of rare. They just don't tell you that. The list of symptoms is insanely long, to tell if it wasn't done right. There's a site somewhere that has most of them if you do a google on it.woodnymph_O said:since I had mine done i have felt icky, what exactly didn't go right? How about lack of sex drive(gasp) totally not normal for meentitled said:There's a lot of things that can go wrong with it. To have it done RIGHT is actually kind of rare. Some of them:
excessive cramping
extra long periods
spotting
irregular periods
hormonal imbalance
sudden onset of thyroid problems
ALL the symptoms of premenopause (hot flashes, night sweats, etc.)
onset of osteoperosis
All sorts of goodies.
Absolutely, yes. Also vaginal dryness, lack of sensitivity, things of that nature.woodnymph_O said:How about lack of sex drive(gasp) totally not normal for me
