just in case anyone is interested...
if you have a recipe that calls for, say a tablespoon or two of light corn syrup, and you don't have any on hand, honey is a wonderful substitute.
i found this out recently when making a caramel pecan pound cake. i only needed two tablespoons of light corn syrup, and was not about to buy a whole bottle for that small amount. thanks to google, i learned that honey can be used in its place.
