When someone asks you, A penny for your thoughts, and you put your two cents in, what happens to the other penny?

when someone asks you for your advice, what they really want is for you to justify the decision they've already made, which is the exact opposite of your advice.

Did you ever notice that the phone always rings at the wrong time, but never rings when you need it to?

with the advent of computer manufacturing, we were promised better technology at lower prices. instead, our computers have gone way UP in price, and many companies use components that cost a small fortune simply because they want a component that no one else will use, let alone make.

average price of a computer ten years ago: 700 dollars
average ten year price projection ten years ago: 100 dollars
average price today: 4000

result: WTF?
