Looks like Monopoly money, doesn't it? ;)

The boys came home from the military with a crapload of spare change in their pockets that they didn't convert. *sighs* It keeps ending up in the cookie jar we keep spare change in, and then when we take the coins for cashing, I end up with all this stuff that won't go through.

And I don't want to know where all the coins from the Bahamas and Jamaica came from... I don't need to know about the kids' drug habits on vacation.

I kept lots of coins from my European trip so that I can save some, and make jewelry out of them for myself and others. I figure it can't be too expensive to have holes drilled by a jeweler.

Usually you can do it yourself with a metal drilling bit and a cordless drill. :D

I think I'd be better off leaving such delicate work to someone who knows what they're doing, or I'd probably end up ruining half the coins. They don't actually use a regular drill to make those teensy holes, do they?

5 countries whose coins I have in abundance:

Actually, a few countries (the US included) have made it illegal to "deface" money by drilling or cutting it. I've never heard of anyone actually getting in trouble for it unless they were modifying the money to commit fraud.

I'm sending you a PM anyway. :) I gots an idea.
