Ive been on Lit for a while now, and wanted to get the opinions of the general populace on something. I know we have all gotten Im's and PM's from complete strangers, hell Ive sent a few hundred myself, but do you guys send them out assuming that the recipient just sees your IM or PM and just drops trou and waits for your reply to jerk /jill off? Or do you open with something introductory to see what that person is looking for first? I literally am having an experience with this as we speak, and wanted your opinions/ advice.

I don't think I've ever sent out a perv IM or PM right off the start. With some people it turns into that and from most, it's a bit of flirting and such. I'm sure there will be some that reply or your own experience that the "lets fuck" notes get replies but I have found and a lot of the women I chat with have said that nice words and an actual interest in each other goes a lot farther than a quick jerk/jill off

I've somewhat mentioned this before but for the most part I don't send out a lot of PM's to other Lister's. If I do it's to say I liked a particular post or picture or ask how they're doing. I try not to get personal and keep things light. Once the ice is broken I'm jocular and sometimes flirtatious.
What I try not to be is crass, offensive or annoying. I recognize this is somewhat of a sex forum but talking about perceived sex acts with someone I've never met or sending her pictures of my package is not my nature.
Overall I have no preconceived expectations and simply try to have a good time and hope others do as well So essentially I don't have any magic answers for you other then let whatever's going to come to pas do so in its own good time.

I've never tried to send a sex invitation to a random stranger. I used to have 3 day crushes where I would pick someone random, chat day 1, sex scene day 2 and goodbye day 3, but I would always make sure it was ok first. I have also sent pm's for the "pm dare" type threads, but I always put that in the subject so they know.

A bit difficult to test it out because most men would probably accept and go for the insta-wank. I might be exhausted before I can find a guy to refuse free, no strings attached, anonymous sex so I could find out why some guys may want to chat first.

I honestly think the pm's women send out to men are better quality than

If I send someone a PM, I generally model it as though we are having a face to face conversation. If I wouldn't say to there face, right after meeting, "Want to suck me off?", I'm not going to say that in my first PM either.

Unless the person I am PM'ing specifically asked for that, I'm not just going to throw it out there. It's just bad form and a definite put off.

I always start of by sending a random cock picture to a newbie. I find that breaks the ice immediately and most chicks love it. It's like asking someone to dance at the club and as soon as you're dancing, asking her if she wants to fuck. If she slaps you immediately, you know right away that she doesn't. If she keeps dancing you know you're in ... so to speak.

My advice to all newcomers -- start off with the random cock picture. Especially, if you've got a huge hunk of man meat.

I look at Lit like I do Las Vegas... There is something for everyone, not kids allowed!!! I don't mind PMs but I don't hang at Lit for the naughty stuff. I have friends here who make sure I am ok by checking in for almost 10 years now.

I also am open for any of my First Responders who need advice or help with anything. So yes I do work support thru Lit and have for a long while... yes my support team knows it. <shurgs> I am single & no kids so no one is going to get into my files on here anyway. I don't keep YIM or Skype open and have to be told to turn it on if that's easier for them to get hold of me... AND some of my Lit friends are linked to me by Facebook and in real life too.
