You can't find Modern Warfare full price anyway these days. It's like four years old bra. The problem with the Modern Warfare series is they aren't even worth discount prizes if you don't jump on early enough to enjoy the multiplayer because the Single Player at this point is more accurately an extended tutorial. Though the next time a tutorial includes nuking the White House and a motherfucker pulling a knife out of his own chest and throwing at the son of a bitch who's been making life hell for him they can call me. Shit I'll fucks with that all day and all night. I didn't quite appreciate the opening scene giving me flashbacks of Iraq though cus dear God it looks EXACTLY like that. It's kinda spooky.

You should play Pokemon. It's time for you to capture them all my son.

I haven't played an fps sense medal of honor got modernized. Beat it In like two hours. I was pissed. I was never good online though

If you don't like the online I wouldn't suggest any of the main stream FPSs because they are online Death Matches with a four hour tutotorial tagged on. Sometimes it's a fun tutorial but that's what it is. It's there to teach you just enough to get your shit pushed in when you try to go online and play. It's gonna suck to be you!

If you want a single player FPS you might have to go digging for through whatever you may have missed from previous generations.

Ya not worth 60 bucks to me. The story is a big part of a game foe me

Definitely not worth 60 bucks. I find them entertaining enough to snag once they get down around twenty bucks though which they usually do around year two or so. I wish that CoD would just release an enormous big game and then release an annual story pack. I hate that I have to buy the new game that I don't care about to play the multiplayer which I do care about. It's been a turn off for me that's had me sticking to game sthat I still love but not nearly as much because the fan base is nice and stable. I can still sign on right now and get a good Mario Kart match (and the Nintendo online services suck except for Mario Kart where someone clearly had much love.)

I didn't mind the WW2 games I just didn't need to storm Normandy annually ya know? I do find it funny that people my age know more about what battles and who fought where than a lot of people older than us because we've been playing the games all the way down to people groaning because they are about to have to play those French fags in a minute.

Only frontline did normandy

Played Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for a bit over the weekend. My Summoner / Scholar is rapidly approaching level cap and the end of the story quests.

Now I have to figure out how I'm supposed to level up other classes and jobs without the storyline quests or side quests that are set up on a per character basis instead of a per job basis. As it stands I'll only have a single class / job quest every five levels.

Bad design choice.

Levequests and Guildleves are grindy and limited to 3 per day. Chasing Fates around in a group gets to be exhausting.

I suppose I'll have to start another character. I'd hoped to be able to do all classes and Jobs with one character. but the grindage will be excruciating.

Yeah, currently on a break myself but hoping that it will work out when I decide I have the patience to go back and do some grinding and get through two excruciating instances.

If you level a tank, maybe I can finally get through as a healer.

Help me, Ula-Ben-Laven, you're my last hope.

That sounds really awkward.

I prefer the line from Galaxy Quest..

"You are our last hope.." ;)

I need to play some final fantasy. I've been busy refinishing and modding a guitar

Me too. I'm having way too much fun in EQ2 right now with all the new toys they set out. I intend the day starting out to play some EQ2, log out and play Final Fantasy...and I never get there.

I'm stuck in an icky grind spot that I'm going to have to get over the grumbling about. I do like Final Fantasy a lot and I want to make it to the end of the storyline, but unfortunately the character I chose, white mage, that was amazing at lower levels is kinda sucky at higher levels and the dungeon puzzles are too hard for me to manage...the sort of thing where there's an attack that does 1900 points of damage guaranteed in the party, and I only have 1902. I need to grind some levels before I try it again and I just don't wanna do the same levequests over and over as I've been doing. I will! But for now I'm in a haunted house in EQ2 and I'm a vampire! (spoiler alert, I've done this quest every year with multiple characters so I know the ending...)

Oh..hey...downtime in 2 hours, so I'll do some Final Fantasying then. This is why I've gotta have two games. It bummed me out when Warcraft and EQ2 had the same scheduled downtime, though EQ2 does it one hour and Warcraft takes 8-16 for their maintenance and always manage to screw something up.

Final Fantasy has not so much downtime and I think they have it set up so you can play through it, you just can't log in if you're not already playing.

Watched part of it last night and we'll finish it up tonight, not much happened in the part we watched, but that's because I'm accustomed to zombies now.
