I suppose this well respected liberal, former Attorney General of the United States under Lyndon Johnson, led a life he could not be proud of. Why? He represented several accussed war criminals. To quote, "I find it remarkable that the Department of Justice, which is part of an administration that consistently criticizes Soviet justice, would accept evidence that it's unable to independently examine in a real sense. I oppose the idea of regenerating hatreds and pursuits 40 years after the fact."
