Rampant BDSM on youtube!

hahahahaha

familyguy does have an episode where peter and louse get into fetich gear, she tells him his safeword, then zips his face hood and pushes him on the bed

(A is a family guy fan and sent me the clip)

Is it bad that I totally relate to stewie atm?

Some one turn me over their fucking knee already!

*bats eyes sweetly*

Lets not forget the one where Peter gets the jumper cables hooked up to his nipples...

I don't make it a habit to watch The Family Guy, but the few times I've caught it, it has had some very clear SM stuff going on... And while some of it is humorous, some of it squicks me pretty badly.

What? I don't believe that for a minute!

Oh, wait. Are you referring to the episode in which Stewie gets a really bad sunburn and peels? (Stewie Jerky)

Believe what you wish, but maybe "squick" isn't the right word.

I don't watch The Family Guy for the same reason I don't watch South Park, The Boondocks or read Mad Magazine anymore. Juvenile, potty humor is only tolerable in VERY small doses to me. It's the same reason that I won't watch the Ace Ventura movies or any of the Vacation movies with Chevy Chase...

Maybe it's the Hannibal Lector inside me, but humor that appeals to the lowest common denominator is offensive to me. I like my humor intelligent, not dumbed down to where someone with the IQ of a squirrel gets it. Low-brow humor just doesn't "do it" for me. And yes, I grew up thinking that The Three Stooges were the funniest thing since sliced bread. Come to think of it though, I haven't watched them in probably 20 years either...

Hmmmm... *ponder, ponder, ponder... *

Maybe I need a humor suppliment in my diet...

Well, until the three stooges was mentioned I was thinking FINALLY, SOMEONE WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR LIKE MINE!

K says I have the sense of humor of a pit bull.

Oh, dude, South Park is not for the bottom feeding - no. The "giant douche vs. turd sandwich" episode was the pithiest commentary on the Kerry-Bush race yet. Yeah there's the grossout, but there's also parody, irony, social commentary, understatement, and timing.

I just don't "get it" when it comes to South Park. I've never seen anything redeeming in any of the episodes I've sat through to humor janey. I'll get a chuckle once in a very rare while, janey's rolling about the whole show. Gotta be a "different strokes" issue. *grins and shrugs*

But please, continue to enjoy! I certainly don't want to grump on anyone's parade. Well, okay... Maybe a few someone's parades. But not many! I promise!

*soft sigh*
Am I the only one who misses Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, and Vicki Lawrence?

I dunno. I generally avoid comedies and sitcoms because they're predictable, and they're the same thing, over and over again.

I like Family Guy because at least every other line, pretty much, is a reference to something else. Sometimes you actually have to know what they're talking about to get the joke. I enjoy that.

But then, I don't think this thread was actually put up to debate whether it was a funny show or not. :p Thanks for the clips, I had fun with them! :D

OMG I remember watching reruns of that show when I was in jr. high *giggles*

the gone with the wind skit where Carol Burnett walks down the stairs in a dress with a currton rod thru the shoulders is part of what inspired my own costume asperations. It was just tooo purfect *giggles* That's the kind of thing I ultimitly want to do.

Aha! www.allsp.com has every episode of South Park for your viewing pleasure.

I loved the world of warcraft one where the kids get addicted to playing warcraft online and get morbidly obese and covered in festering acne from sitting in Cartmans moms basement all day and night eating hot pockets and playing.

Or the Who's the biggest whore parody of Paris Hilton where all the girls dress like sluts and start fighting over who is the biggest whore.

Hahahhaahha

Not the only one. And M and I have been enjoying the sublime first Newhart series, magic of DVD.

Er, there's no SM in that. Other than the male fantasy of utterly normal downtrodden schmoe managing to bag Suzanne Plechette - one has to wonder if there may have been some subtext we don't see.

And don't forget the debate is settled by Mr. Slave.

Yeah, I loved the baby Mr. Slave flashback scene. Where he was pretending to be sick so his mom would use the rectal thermometer on him.

How about the one where Cartmans hand was Jennifer Lopez and it was having an affair with Ben Affleck?

Lord of the Rings episode was pretty funny too.

I don't usually like these kind of shows either... hate South Park and all that, and I usually don't like Family Guy. In fact, the only time I watch it is on YouTube, because they have a lot of kiny Famiy Guy clips and I like them. lol

These clips had me positively ROFLMAO! :D :D :D Neon

P.S., major outh park fan - also find it one of the most politicially astute shows on television, full of bitingly clever cultural commentary. among my favorite episodes: after George Bush tells children across the country to each donate $1 to an Afghani child, each of the boys do so. Their "mirror" Afghani counterparts who receive the $1's have no wish to be beholden, so send them a goat. The boys manage to sneak on a USO tour plane to return goat (presenting her as Stevie Nicks, LOL) and all heck breaks out...
