There's no evidence I can see that the owner was motivated to fire him because of this. Citing "stuff people say" on X or other social media is not evidence.

I thought the firing was too hasty, and the Jets' problems lie with their offense, which is more the responsibility of their OC, Hackett, than Saleh.
