A truely ingrossing subject. I want to know some of your opinions. Not an argument. Just your opinions on a few things.

1. Are you male or female

2. Education?

3. Geographical location.

4. Ethnicity

5. Political stance

I'm asking these a/s/l type questions just to clarify some things. You don't conduct a study without first knowing the subjects' backgrounds. With the basics out of the way I ask these:

6. Are you racist?

7. Do you feel superior due to your racial background?

8. If you are racist, why? Please provide solid justification.

9. Are you anti-racist? Why? Please provide solid justification.

10. What are your parents' views on race?

Thank you for your time.

Read the threads. Answer your own questions. We are not a research team.

Carry on...

Lots of good material out there on the web.

According to psychological studies, the vast majority of racists are found in society's lowest orders.
Uneducated, lacking in self-confidence and unable to rise up the ladder of success, racists see no other option than blaming others for their own problems and reaching the false conclusion that they, in fact, are superior to those they choose to hate.

When, in fact, the opposite is true.

Additionally,

According to psychological studies, the vast majority of humanitarians are found in society's highest orders.
Educated, strutting in self-confidence and unable to rise up the ladder of success, humanitarians see no other option than blaming others for the world's problems and reaching the false conclusion that they, in fact, are superior to those they choose to help.

:D

10, 000 comedians out of work and THIS guy tries to crack jokes.
Is there NO justice in this world?
:D

What about those who are in society's highest orders? What do they have to prove? Or the highly educated but still racist. I want to know why. I don't care about the sheep following in their parents foot steps. I want to why certain people are racist based on personally constructed foundations. How they justify putting down entire groups of people based on colour.

I know there are several threads steaming with this issue, but they're all about the mud slinging. I want a bonified intelligent racist to come forward and put forth their arguments because I sure as hell don't get it. The sheep I get, but not the smart fellas.

There aren't that many intelligent racists around so don't stay up waiting for them to knock.

But the 'colour' thing... that's no longer the issue, according to studies. It's religious and social now. Just as scary, even more scary because of the nuances.

I see it simply, the sheep are out there and they are restless and angry. If you look at the leaders of racist/nationalist groups or political parties, you always see a charismatic leader.

Why? Because they're fucking smart. They see a group needing a leader - an easy mob - and they move in, knowing exactly which buttons to push and how to stir up the popular support. Look at Pim Fortyn in Holland, Jörg Haider in Austria, Pia Kjærsgaard in Denmark, Jean-Marie Le Pen in France, Hitler, et al.

Never good enough to lead the moral majority, but clever enough to answer opportunity when it knocks.

That's strike one in my troll book.

That style is hauntingly familiar...

cool.

Name the racists on the board that are not trolls.

I can't think of any.

You're right... almost. But look at many veiled, pseudo-intellectual arguments and the pattern is there.

For the sake of argument, I will answer the questions. Maybe that will help? Maybe not........

Female
High school grad
Midwest
Italian, German, Polish, Cherokee. Make me a Heinz 57.
No real political stance. I find it tedious
I am not racist.
I do not feel superior to anyone in general or specific
I am not anti-racist. I may not like what someone says, but I certainly won't be the one who says he can't say it.
My folks are odd anyway. My mother isn't concerned about race, but my step father has his issues. My biological father likes everyone.

I hope this helps in some way.

Tis true. The lost masses need a leader. Never a good one though. They always get shot or someone brings up some unimportant gossip that ends up screwing the otherwise good leader. I play with the sheep every now and then but I don't have the patience for it. I'd rather chat with someone with half a brain.

Thank you BM99 for your response. Nice to see another mutt/heinze 57 around here.

No problem. You asked a few questions and I felt honour bound to answer them.
It's fun being a mix. No one really ever believes me, anyway. I look Polish or German and that's that. Scary, eh?
