R.I.P. Amy Winehouse (9/14/83 — 7/23/11)

Just happened. Found dead in her apartment, reason for death unknown at this time.

I knew girl had problems and was a wreck, but didn't think this would happen this soon. Damn.

There was a crack in her soul.

one less smackhead.

just imagine a world where being a smackhead was a cause a of shame.... you don't wanna go to rehab? no no.. problem. shut the fuck up and die in a gutter then. Oops soz Ms Winehouse.. you can afford the drugs, even if they don't work.

what next? pete doherty superhero?

Cee Lo Green said he'd been talking with Amy about working together.

That would've had some serious potential. Opportunity lost...

There was a crack in her soul.

the crack was in her blood stream. In reality she was one fucked up human who helped to bolster the image of drug fueled alcoholism as being acceptable. She won't be missed.

She was a musician, not a role model or life coach. She didn't have any obligation at all to show anybody how to live their lives. And she's already missed by millions.

grammy + socialy responsible? smackhead = role model...... ?

at least if her death makes some kid go "whoa... drugs kill.." she will have had a use, elsewise she was a smackhead.

That's right.
Those media dogs get a hold of her shit, like we've never seen muso's involved with drugs before. Puhlease. Only dipshits would be that interested.
I really couldn't give a fuck that people think less of her because she did drugs. I'm sad for her family and friends, sure.
Her music lives on.

that reminds me of a joke....

Amy winehouse arrives at the pearly gates, St peter (the real one NOT the fake who posts on here) says to her "Amy, step forward, come to the front of the queue, you can be the next one in" Amy Replies "Me St Peter? really? is that because I was such a good person, a great entertainer, nice to my fans?" St Peter looks puzzled..... "No Amy it isn't that" as he points to the large queue... "I'm waiting for a Norwegian interpreter for this fucking lot!!"

:D

Drug abuse is drug abuse hun. Makes no difference what a panel of people say about one drug being illegal or not.

it was interesting that they placed such emphasis on the word illegal.
my guess is she was up to the eyeballs with oxy and other such drugs, none of which are illegal.
