I see the button below a post that says QUOTE and I use it and delete the unwanted parts when I want to post a reply that quotes one person.

My questions: How do I quote more than one person in my post? Is there a way to cut and paste just a few sentences as a quote to avoid having to go back and delete the unwanted stuff?

Thanks.

Click the little button to the right of the QUOTE button (if you mouse-over, it should say 'multi-quote' and it's in the center of the three buttons) on each post you want to quote. Then delete out the superfluous info in each quote.

If you want to quote multiple people, then you need to open two browser tabs, one to view/read the thread and one to create your post. You hit the quote button then copy/paste/edit/respond in the post you're creating in the second tab. When you're finished reading/responding, you hit the "submit" button on the second tab and close it.

We used to have to do that before the last vB ugrade, but why open two windows/tabs now, when we have the multi-quote button available?

Because some of us just aren't that tech savvy! :( :D

Didn't know the multi-quote did that, might just have to check it out the next time I want to do it.

Yeah I wondered about that also

Wow, that really works and was so easy. Thanks
