I got the "Kurasawa" wrong. Thee BDSM imagery in some of his stuff, like "Throne of Blood", confused me there.

Joe, I'm so glad you said that. I never got Blue Angel as a great film, glad for it though for the reasons you mentioned. (btw, I have a friend whose godmother was Dietrich.) At risk I'll say nearly all Japanese films have bdsm subtexts or threads (yeah, an exaggeration, I get what you say re. Kurosawa. P.

I knew three of the movies mentioned, so only had to 'guess' the other seven, but I thought it was pretty obvious. All the photos marked as 'porn' are a bit messy, incidental. And the lighting is terrible.

I suppose the difference between Art and Porn in photos/movies is in the Art Direction. A rather pleonastic thought, but there you go...

As for the intention of my post, well, I can ofcourse only speak for myself. If I wanted to make money for all the effort I put into my stories, I'd post them somewhere else. But I like Lit, I like having my work read by thousands of people, and I like getting feedback saying "we love reading your novels and acting them out in bed". The only feedback I delete is the ones going along the line of "you nigger-loving whore".
