Quick question.

Don't think there is one. If all else fails, chop it up in chapters.

When you run out of words.

If a story is too long you'd be as well submitting in chapters.
Most people stop reading after five or six Lit pages. If they like the story they'll search out the next chapter.

It's good for votes and feedback too.

Maximum word count for story? Anyone know?

No offence, but if you actually read the Lit rules you'd realize there is only a minimum word count.

Write away!

I did, Charley - and I now the min,but it didn't mention anything about max.

This is actually the second chapter of a story I already have started. The first is published.

Hey Kendo!! I actually got it to work!!

K - how about this - approx how many words per lit page? I know - it's gotta be ballpark.

I've got 2500 on my present chapter, and it still need the into/outro. If I break it up I have to write another sex scene and this one wore me out. *grin

Glad to hear it, BG.

I don't know about word counts for Lit pages.
Rob's about.

;) I am a bit tongue in cheek, no offence. Either that or completely confusing. :D I hope.

Edit to add: there is no word max on Lit. It's probably why there is a novel category.
