For a story...

When a wound, like a scrape, 'weeps' is that serum or plasma?

When a nonpregnant woman's breast is severely clamped, something similar exudes at the tip... is it the same thing? serum? plasma?

For the way I believe you are using it, unless you are getting REALLY technical the terms are basically one in the same. Serum/plasma is the clear to cloudy fluid that is devoid of red blood cells. As to what is exuded by a non-pregnant woman, I would guess the same thing. Colostrum (the first milk produced by pregnant moms) is pale yellow in color and tends to be somewhat thick.
