How do I change my screen name? How do I attach a picture to my posts, that is the avatar?

The name part I have no idea about.
The avatar part...you need a hundred posts.
And, a little hint for the future: check the stickies at the top before you post any questions 'cause the avatar question has been asked and answered already.

I'm pretty sure that you have to contact Laurel or Manu (I don't know if the mods can do this) to change your name. With only a couple of posts, why not cut your losses and re-register under a new name?

You have made a grand total of 8 posts. Log out. Register under the name you want. Start again at 1. Good luck.

To get an AV (avatar) you need 100 posts so get to it!

If you want to waste the time of the site owners, you might request that they do that all for you, or you could just log out and do what I suggested above, it is the simplest method.
