Questions reguarding monthly contests

Ok, according to the rules, you have to have at least 50 votes to be eligable. Is this eligible to win, or eligible for the contest at all? Because I clicked on the link to see who was put in the contest for the halloween stories, and mine were, though I show in my profile that I have far.. far... less then 50. So, anyway, was wondering if someone could clear this up for me?

Hi Gilly!

Hope you're having an awesome Sunday. The 50 votes requirement is only to win. All stories submitted are eligible. The reason we require 50 votes is so that the voting is more fair. To drum up votes, I put all the Halloween stories on a single page and linked it from the front page of the site. In future special contests, a link will appear on the Story Index - in with the other categories - that will take you to a list of stories included in that contest. Hope this makes sense, and thanks for submitting!
