A question to those seasoned writers out there ... I have just finished writing out my second story , haven't submitted it yet , something else here got my attention and so I pose the following questions :

Do you have your profile shown on the Writers.Literotica.com website ?

If yes , have you ever been approached in regards to having your stories published through this method ?

Is it worth it to show your profile ?

If NO , why did you choose not to ?

Looking forward to your replies ,

Yes, I do have a profile...have had one for over a year now.

Nope, never been contacted.

I think that it was a good idea in theory, but in reality there are enough good and talented writers scrambling to find homes for their writing that sitting on lit waiting for a publisher or an agent to swoop down and find you is a little like sitting at home wondering when Prince Charming is going to arrive at your doorstep with the champagne, flowers, and 3 carat diamond.

the last time I questioned anyone about this subject, I was told that the system wasn't actually up and running yet. I haven't been notified that it is running, but i haven't exactly gone out looking to find out since then. so no, I don't have my profile up there, because when I wanted it it didn't work.

Yes, I've got my profile there but have never been contacted.

Perhaps they read my stories and thought they would try someone else.
