Questions for the bi girls, or anyone for that matter

I surf singles sites quite a bit, (probably more than is legal in some states) and I have found something of a curiosity. Why do woman often post as bi and then repeatedly warn guys not to respond. Why is it that they don't just post as gay and forget all the hassle?

Just wondering.

Oh by the way, Lit is a great site, I've been reading the stories for quite some time and have turned others onto it as weel. Thank you authors!

I would assume so that the women searching would know from the beginning that the woman in question is bi, but by saying "women only, please", that shows that she's only interested in getting responses from women. Either she's bi but has a preference for women, or maybe she's bi but is currently looking for a female relationship. Not entirely sure though since I haven't been in that situation myself.
