Not sure if this is the right place, but is there an author on Lit who you wished would write more, say they've got one or two great stories and you love their style, not sure why I'm asking really.

I have to say I wish GH Lawrence would write more, and maybe expand from the mother/son genre. His characters (despite their dimensions) always seem very believeable, if you ask me. I'm just wondering if anyone else has a favourite (I'm English, that's how we spell it here) author that doesn't have lots of stories here.

I think many of us lit authors are too narcisisstic and vain to admit to having a favourite author that is not themselves . . . or is that just me?

Nope, not me. ;)

This seems a good a thread as any to state this, I've been waiting for the right opportunity. One of my favourite Lit authors is Alex de Kok. So much so in fact, that he is now a guest author at my site.

My favourite author doesn't have any stories posted on Lit, as yet, but there is a short story of his on my site, also. Ok, enough of the shameless plugging now, I hope I don't get into trouble. ;)

I love Perdita's writing style (it's very poetic to me), and recently have been reading Alex de Kok, and Oggbashen and and and...most of the stuff I've read from folks who post here is pretty damn good, frankly.

I am very impressed with how fluently so many authors here write, and how well many of you weave historical or other social contexts into your plots.

And I miss karmadog, whose chapter in The Talisman is, imo, one of the best things I've ever read here.

Oh, and I love 99.9999999 percent of everything smithpeter posts here (mostly poetry).

Dr_Mabeuse ~ easily. There's something about his writing style that does it for me. One of his stories imparticular - The Bacchae, when the story ended i was left wanting more, more, more. :)

SoupWarsProject is currently my favorite author and 'they' seem to be posting daily so I'm very satisfied.

Mlle Blue Pen needs (for me) to post more but I know she's busy warbling away at opera singer school.

Gauche is satisfying me lately with new stories thanks to the H'ween contest but I want more of the 'usual' stuff.

Now that Angeline has posted a prose piece (H'ween story) I want to read more of her, though I'd hate to take away from her poetry.

Laurn.H, thank the gods, is prolific.

from fandom, Perdita

p.s. I am not my fave author on Lit.

Apart from the reguklars in here, I rarely put author's names to mind. But I can say this, now that Raph finally got around to posting stories, he should god damn continue. :)

And I mimic MG's post, made in jest or not. I want to see more stories from me. I've got the wirst self esteem issue over my shitty production rate...

Oh well, may NaNo make us all almost pathetically productive in the future, eh?

I would like to see more posted by all the authors we regularly see in the AH. Without fail (well, that I can remember) I read them in chronological order, and find myself more drawn into their created reality with each new story. Either they grow as writers, or grow as persons and that is reflected in their work.

Kinda a twisted veiwpoint, but I'm kinda a twisted girl. ;)

Dear Pop,
I try to treat everyone's work equally. I don't read any of it.

I wish Loki, the male component, of soupwarsproject would finish and post more of his cool threesome/supernatural magick/super boobie sex stories. However, I, the female component of soupwarsproject am contented that Loki provides me with a steady income, household handyman skills, cool Japanese girl-girl cartoon, my ostentatious house and a good whipping on a regular basis. As long as I am his cooking, entertaining, accounting loveslave, he is happy.

I am EXTREMELY partial the writings of Perdita (especially the Elevator Girl series.) Everyone on the Snippettsville Group is great. Thw prolific jessijessi34 always provides me with a steady diet of happy dykey smut and I always await her newest work like a crackhead awaits rock. Silas Knight has a lot of potential on the RPs, so I hope he gets his butt in gear and post a story or poem. Wantonica's characters are muses to me and they always inspire me to write.

*sighs* ... I'll get around to it, Ice. I promise!! Hehe .... WSO's been nagging at me to do Snipps stuff, so you might see some of that from me.

My favourite author? Muffie, without a doubt. One of the first authors I ever read on lit (I've been reading for a lot longer than I've been posting) and she never fails to deliver the goods, as it were.

Prolific, productive, endlessly erotic. Can't speak highly enough of KM.

I haven't read his new erotic work, but if his erotica is anything like his non erotica work then Raphy for sure. However, knowing his mercurial nature I am not holding my breath ;)

The authors I really like are pretty prolific but I would like to see more from Jigs and Matriarch. Those are about the only two non AH authors I read regularly.

I can honestly say I am not my favorite lit author, in fact, I haven't read any of my own stories more than once after posting ;)
