this is a little naive, but can you use saran wrap....or do you need the flexibility of some kind of latex........

Saran Wrap does work. I've had a few friends who chose to use it. It actually warms very quickly with body heat, and if you use a small piece of it, it is pretty easy to forget that you are using anything at all. It is thin enough to allow you to feel almost anything yet protective enough to make things safer...

To be honest I definately recommend "bareback", the sensations, including the moisture of a tongue cannot truly be felt any other way.

Hygene wise, shower just beforehand, and if that's not enough for you, then use an enema, that (can) be play too........

(I am presuming in all of this, that this is a monogamous trusting relationship!)

If I understand our thread starter's post correctly she's not so much concerned about hygiene/health as she is just a bit weirded out by the idea of putting her tongue there, hence the use of a barrier to reassure herself

I have given and received only in LTRs and it can be great.
No one I know personally has gotten sick but I will never do
it again without a barrier. As a NON professional, it seems
