Question on buying collars

I have this problem as well to an extent. I'm guessing the problem with leather is that there is still a metal clasp which will irritate the skin.

Hmm, some ideas...

You could try a gold chain with a lock charm. It's not very functional, but it would have symbolic value. I know I have seen these before, and if I can think of where I will post a link.

I have seen some thin fabric chokers that tie in the malls. That might be suitable for public wear.

As for private play I think you will probably want something sturdier. I don't know if you can find a whiplace collar that ties. I don't think I have ever seen one. Your best bet might be to find someone who makes collars and ask if you can get a gold clasp. Not sure that you will be able to get a gold O ring though.

Some people use crochet collars as well.

Personally, except for play, I wear a gold necklace with His initial in a heart. It works for us.

If you were tasked to find these collars aren't we doing your work for you?

Just a thought. ;)

Why don't you get out there and run a search? You may find alot of interesting things turn up, that YOU like, rather than finding out what suits each of us.

My 2 cents.

Great Question. I am always on the look out whether online, BDSm sites, or just every day stores for collars that can be used in every day life.

I will look for the one I found a while back. It was a white collar that could be used in every day life.

In many tatoo and piercing places they sell stainless steel wrist bracklets and sometimes neck torks?sp?. While very plain, the sheen and simplicity appears elegant yet strong and they look very good.

As they are made from 'surgical grade' stainless steel you should have no problems with allergies or reactions.

I wonder if you'll be tempted :)
