Question on a fix for a published story

I recently submitted and got published a story. Really good, except after I submitted I noticed my Title was in need of one spelling change. I had to re-title because the real title was too long. So I need to fix it. I go and read the help section and find out there is a easy fix, except, I can't put EDITED in the title to resubmit, because of character limitations. So I can't make the comment so an editor can see what I need help fixing.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Just use as much as will fit + some sort of edited notation in the title. It can even look like this:

This is my long title th*EDIT

Then, in the "Notes" section, detail what you want to change the title to.

Possibly include the URL of the story you're editing, and the original title as well. I always have. Helps reduce the possibility of human error.

Because you're only changing the title, you can copy-paste the "Notes" section into the "Story Text" section. That not only fills in that section of the form ( necessary ) but also double-taps your requested change.
