Question for those who write group sex stories

I first found LIT while googling for group stories, and I was pleased to find several hundred of them here - many were excellent.

Since joining LIT though, I've tried to get a few discussions about group fantasies going on the Forums - and it seems like almost nobody on General or Playground is interested in discussing Group. (I've introduced other topics and gotten response though.)

So where do all the Group/orgy fans live around here?

You're so right. It's also complicated to write as well, just logistically difficult. I was writing a gay male four-way and after a while, I didn't know what dick belonged to whom. In real life, you'd never hear me complain about having too many parts to deal with, but writing about it is another thing entirely.

To me there's a big difference between threesomes and group. Threesomes would seem to include a certain amount of intimacy that groups might lack, so that would influence some peoples' tastes. Orgies seem more like a fun party IMO.

Since a really excellent group fuck could probably only happen in the mind anyway, that would seem to give carte blanche to a writer to leave the confines of reality behind and get really imaginitive.

I guess many writers want to create work that's more artistically sophisticated, with higher regard to feel, setting, moods, psychology, dialogue, interesting characters etc etc.

The group stories I enjoy have little need for such artisanship though. The "newscast" approach isn't a bad thing so long as some imagination is included with that. Forgive me for sounding crude but ultimately I just want to imagine glistening pumping genitalia, extremely dilated orifices, copious fluids flyin' all over place, faces smiling ecstatically and contorted with orgasmic pleasure. I want to visualize wall-to-wall rooms of people all happily doing this stuff together - never mind that it could never unfold that way in real life.

I have little interest in reading of 2 people doing the same conventional sex most of us do at home - what's the point in that? IMO, the object of erotica is to portray ordinary people with extraordinary dimensions & talents performing startlingly extraordinary sexual acts - the kinds of things we don't get to do at home. Erotica should be like the Cirque du Soleil in that regard.
