This is hard to do, but since it keeps eating away at me; i must ask anyway.

For some reason, am i being blacklisted here on Lit?

i see where people say that my words have meaning, but very few seem to want to get to know me. And no, its not a plea for attention! i just need to know, for my peace of mind.

Is it because i am shy, or speak the truth, or what?

Or has someone put out lies about me? What???

i have been polite to people, since i am one of the newer members of the boards; so is thats whats getting to people??

i consider most of the ones i have talked to good people. This is just starting to really depress me.


So answer with the truth, no matter how bad it is. Just so i know.

People are standoffish here until they see a lot of posts from someone. It's nothing personal against you. I didn't get to really know anyone until I had damn near 1,000 posts. Then some people just never reach out to others at all, preferring to remain anonymous, mostly. Also nothing personal against you. Just hang in there and keep contributing.

But, no one is more important than another. We are here for specific reasons whatever they maybe and sometimes they do not involve making friends with every person on the planet. I am extremly fussy over who I converse with. Those who want to know you already do and those who don't really don't care.

Lit is a lot like high school all over again, cliches, dramas and lies. Plus there is a lot of good stuff too. You just need to find your place in all of it.

It does take a while here. I remember when I first came here I thought, geesh, people here are so unfriendly! But I think it's mostly that so many people come and go. The old timers (ha ha) are wary to trust you until you've been around for a while.

On a related note, I've recently noticed a whole bunch of posts that sound something like: well, I for one pay attention to the following fabulous people here...and then a rather lengthy list ensues, and I'm never on it!

And yes, while it makes me an immature attention whore, I just gotta say, wtf people? I'm fucking smart! And not just book smart. I'm out there living it up too. And besides, I'm hilariously funny!

But fine, don't include me in your list of amazingly wise submissives who enlighten you on a daily basis. That's cool. Whatever. I don't care. Here I am...not caring! Hmph.

Aw, you noticed? I actually lurk in your thread at home, but I tend to avoid it now at work. It's kinda not work friendly. Have ya noticed? Why all of a sudden I decided to care is beyond me. But there you have it.
